Q: Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.

Ans: Expect Success Coaching & Training helps businesses and individuals grow. Our corporate office is located in Peoria, AZ. We have staff located at other various locations throughout the U.S.

Q: Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

Ans: I have years of experience in running successful businesses in the realm of manufacturing, marketing, real estate investing and more. I led a Manufacturing company to become one of the top three in the entire world and became the number one distributor in the U.S. in another venture in just three months! My wife and I have also owned and operated a highly successful Real Estate Investment company.

With over five thousand paid personal coaching sessions under my belt, I have attained the reputation as America’s break-through Coach and have gained the respect and admiration of thousands of Executives, Business Owners, Entrepreneurs as well as Independent Agents.

Many of our Coaching Clients have experienced phenomenal success and growth in their respective fields while working with me and my company .

As the CEO of Expect Success Coaching and Training, I nurture the passion for helping others achieve the success they truly desire. I founded Expect Success Coaching and Training over 10 years ago with the sole purpose of helping others achieve their dreams.

Q: What ignited the spark in you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

Ans: After reaching a level of success it was natural to want to help others achieve similar results. I first started training individuals. It was gratifying to have positive feedback and many people told me that their life would be changed from the new information we shared with them. However, when I followed up with them, most of their situations changed very little after receiving our training.

I started to ask myself why they had not made long term changes and started to succeed at the level they desired. They had all of the information they needed to change. I realized it was more than just information. They needed to put the information into practice.

I also started noticing that if they did not work on themselves internally they would not experience the results they wanted externally. That is when we decided to form a unique Coaching & Training Company to not only teach these principles but also to help others put them in to practice.

Q: How important have good employees been to your success?

Ans: Our team is the backbone of our success. Their tremendous efforts have helped us in being so successful today. Good staff is the lifeblood of any successful company and bad staff can spoil the reputation of a company. I believe having a great staff is a sure step ahead to success.

Q: What three pieces of advice would you give to college students who want to become entrepreneurs?

Ans:

1. Don’t try to be a lone wolf and do it all on your own. It is the efforts of the people who surround you, who can either make you or break you.

2. Always do what is right. If you do not compromise true morals and integrity you will be much better off in the long run.

3. Get coaching and mentoring from someone who has been where you want to go and someone who knows how to teach and motivate you to do the same. Have someone to stand by you and help you to bring out the best in you.

Q: If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?

Ans: I would surround myself with better associates earlier and I would hire more competent professionals more often. I believe I would have grown more and our companies would have made an impact on more people on a deeper level if I would have done this earlier in my career.

Q: How long do you stick with an idea before giving up?

Ans: If it is a great idea that is worthy of my time and energy, I stick to it until it is realized. I believe that giving up on one’s dream is the sure way to live a life of mediocrity.

Q: What motivates you?

Ans: First and foremost, I am motivated by my relationship with the Lord Jesus, who is more important to me than any other person. The next most important motivators in my life are my immediate family members. I want to be a real life example for them to follow. Third, I am sincerely motivated by helping others reach their goals. It is hard to describe the way it affects me when our clients succeed. Our clients’ success is our sole reason for existing as a company and enhances our vision to help them meet their expectations.

Q: How do you generate new ideas?

Ans: Ideas are everywhere. I am constantly listening to others and learning from them. I pick up ideas from our clients, our staff, friends, trainings or family. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to turn a great idea into a reality. The ideas are easy, but it is executing all of the things necessary that makes the difference.

Q: How do you define success?

Ans: Real success does not mean only thinking about oneself as an entrepreneur or thinking about one’s own business. In fact, success lies in adding value to others.

Q: What book has inspired you the most? (OR What is your favorite book?)

Ans: The Bible is the best book I have ever read. It is full of business and personal advice. It has shaped my life more than any other book. I have read it completely several times and it seems to have the answers to all of the really important issues in life.

It has turned me from a self centered person to someone who truly desires to help others. It is valuable information and it always works in motivating me to be a better person.

Q: What are some of the biggest mistakes you’ve made?

Ans: I have made some huge mistakes and have learned a lot from my mistakes. Most of the time my mistakes were due to me. I didn’t know enough, I didn’t have the right mentors or coaches or I was filled with pride and I thought I knew more than others. Pride is a scary thing. It has caused the fall of many people.

Q: What are your hobbies? What do you do in your non-work time?

Ans: I have many hobbies. I believe balance is essential for long term success.

During non-work time, I enjoy most outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, camping, backpacking, riding quads, boating, skiing and just playing sports with family or friends.

Q: Where you see yourself and your business in 10 years? 20 years?

Ans: In next 10-20 years, I envision our company being known as The Premier Coaching & Training Company. I don’t care how big we are, but I want our results to continue to be life changing. I want to keep evolving as a company and to continue to change, as everything is always in a state of change. I believe that technology and the delivery system will continue to change, but people are still facing the same issues that we always have. In short, I want our company to keep changing lives for many years to come.
