Microsoft Bundles Bing Shopping With New Features

Redmond, Washington — Software maker Microsoft Corp., has just bundled its Bing Shopping with some enhancements to product categories and navigation, which allows you to go to the part of the “catalog” to find the product you are looking for, in order to kick up a notch the shopping experience for end users.

The latest sweetenings to Bing Shopping, all very appealing like “window shopping” is now live, and online buyers will be able to take advantage of the new features introduced immediately, as they look for products to buy.

“You will discover that we have developed a list of product family on the left side of the homepage to help you start your search. Just select a category to drill down to other parts of our catalog to find the products you are looking to buy. We know how much we all love to window shop, just think of this as the online equivalent,” Lawrence Lam, from the Bing Shopping team, noted.

An important modification is related to changes introduced to streamline research for online merchandise. Specifically, Bing Shopping now has a list of product categories on the left side of the homepage. Once you located what you are looking for, Bing shopping is also providing info like where to buy, product specifications, cashback percentage and user reviews, all on one page.

Bing has also improved the product review segment to give you the most relevant and recent opinions from other people. You can even define more clearly by filtering on star ratings or use Bing Shopping’s “opinion scorecard.”

Apart from all these, Bing also promised to roll out some more enhancements of Bing Shopping the future.
