Moving forward, LiquidPlanner is intend to help with this by using a data analytics to help forecast how changes in deadlines or resources will impact a project’s milestones. When someone reschedules one piece, the changes are reflected throughout the entire project. This is especially pretty worthwhile when a project manager is trying to decide whether to move a person from one project to another, Seybold said. “It really helps with scenarios where you are trying to optimize a resource pool,” he said.
The app empowers project managers to manage projects effortlessly and access the information they need to make business decisions faster, ensuring their projects are completed on time and within budget. While describing the effectiveness, Seybold said, because LiquidPlanner is a cloud-based application, which is particularly optimized to work with staffs that are highly distributed.
Elaborating further on the feasibility, Mike Mickelsen, Operations Director at Electronic Systems Services, Inc. said, “Mobile connectivity is becoming increasingly essential at our company. Today, many of our managers and team members rely on mobile devices to stay engaged with their projects and quickly address any issues that arise.” Mickelsen added “LiquidPlanner’s new Android app will ensure that more of our employees have access to the critical information they need, even when they are out in the field.”
Moreover, the LiquidPlanner Android app includes the same features as the iOS application: viewing and updating tasks, participating in comment streams, browsing full project trees, viewing attached documents, creating new tasks, and so forth. Besides, the release of LiquidPlanner 3.0 for Android is further evidence of the company’s continuous commitment to providing broad support for its mobile customers.
