GOOGLE ‘GOGGLES’ DYNAMIC SEARCH ADS

October 21, 2011 0

Google has goggled a new feature for AdWords, which would be called Dynamic Search Ads. With this new feature, Google will be able to index a user’s site on a regular basis for a number of purposes. May it be for changes or to take the keywords from your website. The search engine giant can even generate a highly dynamic search ad based on search queries in Google and interestingly, it takes into account those queries, which one has not set up in AdWords.

Google would even generate a headline dynamically, which is based on what was searched on Google. There is a difference in the campaigns Google has been already running, as compared to this one. In this case, Google would omit those keywords which have already been bid by a user. Thus the system will only see those keywords, which are new for a user. Talking about it competing for the keyword, the procedure would be same as it would compete in any other case for a particular keyword or a keyword phrase.

So, Google will use its efforts only for the headline. This does not relieve the user from working on the body of the ad. A notable point here is that a user writes the body of the ad, and the search engine giant would only insert the headline in the ad dynamically.

However, Google estimates that the count for never been searched keywords is still huge as they estimate that around 16 percent of search queries have not been searched.

Google’s new feature, would give advertisers a whole new horizon to target customers with. This would help the advertisers as relevant searches would be carried on to their website with dynamic ads, which are generated from their website content.

Google’s main aim is to achieve “broader exposure” with this feature. This may even get advertisers more targeted customers, but without any doubt, Google would earn tons and tons out of it. The search engine giant has chosen yet again a mode of helping themselves, via helping others. Positively, many advertisers and targeted customers can click with these Dynamic Search Ads. According to Google, advertisers are enjoying a 5-10 percent increase in clicks and conversions with Google’s said feature. Along with it, they are even getting an overall positive ROI.

To note a few happy advertisers, the list had ApartmentHomeLiving.com’s General Manager, Lawrence Cotter, saying, “Using Dynamic Search Ads increased conversions by almost 50% with an average cost-per-conversion that’s 73% less than our traditional search ads. Dynamic Search Ads are doing a really good job finding the right searches to tap into, creating good ads, and getting visitors to the most relevant page on our site.”

Google notes that Dynamic Search Ads gives an advertiser, more control over their ads. It can be noted as they get the option to show their whole site or to restrict it to a specific page within their website.

If one intends to sign up for the beta program, they can either contract their Google representative or sign up here.
