San Francisco — Even though Adobe Inc., may have discontinued development on its mobile Flash products, but the company promised to keep offering support and updates to its users to ensure compatibility and security. To that end, both Adobe Flash and AIR received updates today, bringing with them bug fixes, enhancements, and compatibility fixes for Android 4.0 operating system, as well as an update to the Air SDK.
Well, keeping up to its promise, this latest update to Adobe Flash Player 11 and AIR 3.1 delivers support for all new Android 4.0 devices such as Galaxy Nexus, select Nexus S and other tablets that incorporates the ICS update recently.
The new update also fixes a number of bugs and provides an assortment of new enhancements, as well as addresses the nagging “green screen” issue of Android 4.0 devices as well.
Adobe Flash Player is essentially required to view videos and other web programs that are based on Flash content while Adobe AIR allows running specific applications effortlessly on Android platform.
