Pocket-lint got a confirmation for the same from a company spokesperson confirmed who said, “Adobe will release one more version of the Flash Player for mobile browsing, which will provide support for Android 4.0, and one more release of the Flash Linux Porting Kit – both expected to be released before the end of this year. After that time, Adobe will continue to provide critical bug fixes and security updates.”
Talking about Adobe, it was noted in a few news posts earlier that the company would cease its processing for the development of mobile Flash. This would mean that the last efforts from Adobe for Flash would be made for ICS, which would note its final big release before it goes away forever. However, it was conveyed by the company that it would still continue its efforts to provide support for its existing ventures, in the form of bug repairs and security updates.
The last mobile Flash release is expected to be seen rolling out in a few weeks for ICS. Google has confirmed, saying “Flash hasn’t been released for ICS yet. So far as we know, Adobe will support Flash for ICS.”
Flash, initially was not a part of Ice Cream Sandwich, but to meet the needs and requirements of users, Flash will make an entry into ICS. However, as one can expect things to slow down with the inclusion of Flash, it would give iPhone 4s the expected relief iPhone would have wanted for its success. The reason for the same can be seen in the video posted below:

In the video above, one can see that the speed of Android ICS powered Samsung Galaxy Nexus is comparative to that of an iPhone 4s. Expectedly, the speed advantage would return to iPhone, with the inclusion of Flash to ICS.
This update would thus mean that one would not see a mobile Flash for Android 5.0, which is already in talks. Android 5.0, which is already being dubbed as Jelly Bean, has tech enthusiasts keenly looking forward to the development of the upgraded OS. Again, there the expectations that the OS would get Flash is a fantasy as of now. So, one might see the shipping of Android 5.0 devices sans Flash.
