Mountain View, California — In an attempt deliver more enhanced features to its hotly growing Android users, global search engine titan Google has recently released a minor update to Google Maps, bringing the application up to version 5.12.0, which is now available in the Android Market for download.
While the popular maps app for Android would not deliver comprehensive new features through this update, though it does brings about 2 changes. Live events from New York, San Francisco, Paris, Zurich, and London will now be displayed in the places pages.
Google also pulled off the ability to “Post to Twitter” when writing reviews in Places. Thus, the chances are that there are some bug-fixes sprayed herein but we can not vouch for that.
