‘ADWORDS EXPRESS’ MARCHES INTO THE UK AND GERMAN TERRITORY

October 24, 2011 0

AdWords has been one of those services of Google, which has been really fruitful for the advertisers in the U.S., but the search engine giant seems to be pumping in more locations for advertisers to reap the benefits out of Google AdWords Express. Google made an announcement that their AdWords service would be now available in the whole of UK and Germany, for advertisers. With this, Google AdWords Express is now available in the U.S., U.K., France and Germany.

AdWords Express was released by Google on July 25th, this year, and targeted small businesses with its approach. The official Google blog post noted that this service would be beneficial for local businesses get more traffic to their websites and Places pages.

AdWords Express has been a useful tool in targeting customers with the products or services they are looking out for. The redirection on every click would get a prospective customer to one’s website or their Google Places listing.

For those, who have no knowledge or just basic knowledge about it, here is a briefing about the service. To use it, one would not be troubled, as it is quite easy. To get an account in, one has to only detail Google with basic details such as business information, ad text and monthly budget. Once an advertiser is done with the initial setup, Google works on it and the campaign is managed by the search engine giant. It does not burden the advertiser with the workload further.

However, there are a few doubts in the advertiser’s mind, as to how does Google manage one’s ad. Adwords would target and figure out which searches one’s ad should be showing on. The technicality is quite similar to Google’s new Dynamic Search Ads program. Google Express is even special because of its ‘estimated monthly budget’ option.

Sparing a thought for the competitiveness, it all depends on the keyword. However, popularity would even come into play. But one would not be paying, if there is no click on the same, which would mean that advertisers would be safe till there is no click on the same.

Once a user has their an account set up, their ads would show up in the Ads section. There is even a bit of difference in the pin color one notices in Google Places. Their entry on Google Maps would have a blue pin, rather than the red pin non-AdWords advertisers receive. Additionally, one would even notice that there is a briefing about their business posted along with a few reviews about their product or service.

AdWords Express can be really effective for those who want to target users locally. It can help stream a number of clients with its campaign.
