Million Dollar baby of Google has just crossed another frontier. It has surpassed the 20 million mark which is really quick as it has been just three weeks since it has launched. Out of the 20 million visitors, five million are from US. This has been researched by ComScore which is a research firm. The research firm’s VP of industry analysis, Andrew Lipsman said that there has never been a faster leap to the mark that he could ever think off.
The increase in the number of users are quite astonishing as Google has not waved out all Google+ officially for most of the Google users which can count up to a billion easily. Larry Page, Google’s Chief Executive has recently notified that the receive and share item list has summed up for more than a billion daily. He continued saying that they were really excited for the way Google+ has progressed. However Google’s spokesperson did not comment on the counts, just said that they do not make any comments on metrics of third parties.
Google+ can be easily counted as the best and the most creditable works of all time which is for the time being no where near to the Facebook user list which is more than 750 million. However if Google+ continues at the same pace, then there is a possibility that within a year Google+ can be at almost half of Facebook. However for the logging in, more than half of the Facebook user see to it that they log in everyday but for Google the entry and the logging in daily is not is no comparison to that of Facebook. Facebook for now is competing with Google’s search engine for attraction and earning millions & billions of dollars out of advertising. Comparing it with the Tweet world, Twitter has around 200 million users and expectedly at the current pace, Google+ can take over the tweet count in a year’s time.
Google+ had a beta launch last month which lets only a number of users to get hold of users entering in. however the users who are already in Google+, can in turn send invites to their family members and friends. Being in the beta mode, one can assume the number of barriers user faces currently but later on it would be much of a hassle free networking. In the coming future, expectedly Google+ would incorporate get into an integration with Gmail and YouTube. If this is to happen, then for sure there is no stopping for Google+ from reigning the social world. Facebook and Twitter need to get better and bigger before the Google baby grows old.
Looking back at the past, Google had tried its hand on social networking which was the only notable venture from Google’s warehouse till now. But Orkut was one service which gained fame outside US more than in US. However the following attempts were no good and proved to be real failures for Google. Buzz was one of them and it was one such service of Google which was highly criticized for a few violations which relate to users privacy. Buzz made a few of the users contacts public automatically which did hurt the privacy factor of many a users.
