SWIFT YOUR PHONES AND TABLETS WITH SWIFTKEY

July 15, 2011 0

Touchtype has finally moved Swiftkey X out of the beta mode. Swiftkey X Tablet and Swiftkey X are now for grabs in the Android Market arena. Swiftkey’s launch will relieve many as their preference was mainly on this new and preferred versions of Swiftkey. The beta version was actually out just a few months back and was very good but not really as exciting as it is now.

Swiftkey has a success platform already wtih the launch of its Keyboard last year. It has became a global hit by making it to the top ten list of paid applications. Looks like they would get going on at least the same success rate if not better with Swiftkey X’s launch.

The new features and specifications which gives Swiftkey X the edge, are as listed below: –

Settings menu, better installer and an updated user interface

Touchtype has even made use of 2.0 AI engine fluency for Swiftkey X. This will help to not only to make predictions for a specific word but even to learn from them. The accuracy is even appreciable.

It has even integrated a few features which are considered to be of the Gen-Next technology such as cloud learning. This feature is really a superior one as it makes an analysis of the way one types on Facebook, Twitter and Gmail, after which it quickly learns one’s style of typing. This feature can be allowed if the user wants to use this feature.

There is varied support for languages as it already has support for 22 languages and its still on a move to add more to the list. At a single point of time, interpretations can be made for up to three languages which would majorly help bilingual users.

The look of the keyword can even be enhanced by using this theme support feature.

Talking about the price, Swiftkey X Tablet is just one dollar more than Swiftkey X. Swittkey X Tablet is priced at 4.99 USD while the price for Swiftkey X is 3.99 USD. There is however some good news for the already registered paid users of Swiftkey. These users would be lucky to get a free upgrade to X version.

Many users of this new version bet their money on an amazing option pf Swiftkey X Tablet which is split key thumb which helps a lot while typing. It might take some time to get used to it but but the fact is that it will ease one’s thumbs and typing will be really fun. Swiftkey has tried its best to let installing become a hassle free job by providing the users with an installer guide which would make a lot of difference. Its a step by step user guide which is easy and simple to follow.

Swiftkey has left no stone unturned to make every android user to shift from the normal keyboard to Swiftkey. Even users of the stock keyboard of Honeycomb would want to switch over to Swiftkey.

The only point of worry for a few users would be if they want to use the cloud learning feature but have a dual style of writing. For example if one writes professional letters on Gmail, Friendly tweets on Twitter and quotable quotes on Facebook, there would be a lot of confusion as already there is analysis going on for all the three. The predictions could mix up the one’s style to type. But hopefully one can assume that in future that this concern will even be resolved and would be more specific as to where what should be typed and what should be predicted.
