New York -- The Microsoft adCenter team just back from the holiday rolled out a bundle of new enhancements options to sort and filter your data.
These enhancements include: First up is custom date ranges.
The news custom date ranges feature empowers you to customize your campaign performance grids for easy viewing of performance data for campaigns, ad groups, ads, or keywords for custom time periods that you specify, without having to run reports.
“Date ranges for up to 31 consecutive days within the last two years can be utilized, or you can use the existing adCenter preset date ranges if they work for you,” explains Mel Carson at the adCenter blog.

Las Vegas-- Trouncing out over rivals Yahoo and Google, Microsoft Corp., the third most-visited Internet search portal, has forged a five-year alliance with Verizon Wireless to be the default Internet search services provider for cell phones, in addition to managing mobile advertising services, which certainly appears to be seen as a blow to rivals Google Inc. and Yahoo Inc.
Verizon Chief Executive Ivan Seidenberg, addressing a Citigroup conference, said on Wednesday that Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer would officially present the deal later in the day at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. He gave no further details, reported Reuters.
The agreement succeeds more than a year of speculation on whom would become the default mobile search provider for Verizon Wireless, which is set to surpass AT&T Inc as the No. 1 U.S. mobile carrier after it closes its purchase of smaller operator Alltel later this week.

New York-- Witnessing a steeply declining economy, a layoff is not a surprise. But a layoff of 15,000 people and that too from Microsoft, is surely surprising. Unconfirmed vague rumors of huge Microsoft layoffs have gathered momentum with one site making specific claims. The latest to stake the claim on the possibility of layoffs at the software giant is the blog Fudzilla, which puts the number of job cuts at 15,000, or nearly 17 percent of Microsoft’s worldwide operations.
That is the latest buzz about potential Microsoft layoffs. While rumors have been swirling of job losses for several weeks, there has not been a great deal of detail to the gossip. Earlier reports only described that as many as 10% could get the axe, and that Wall Street would see that as “healthy,” according to Oppenheimer & Co. analyst Brad Reback.
