Mountain View, California -- In an effort to allow for more secure searching, search engine leader Google on Tuesday, said it radically adopted its use of HTTPS security via SSL encryption as the default option among searchers who are signed in, which would prevent Wi-Fi hackers and rogue ISPs from spying on your searches.

New York -- Global search engine titan Google is aiming to put a novel twist targeting the traditional digital presentation format (i.e. Powerpoint), on Tuesday unveiled some significant improvements with a new version of its Googlde Docs presentations web app module with an emphasis on collaborative features, rolling over 50 new tools into its online answer to Microsoft Powerpoint.

Google has been stressing on security of late, as it came up with the 'Good to Know' campaign earlier this week. Yet again it is with an option to win user's trust. The search engine giant has opted for automatic listing updates, which would give more trust to user reports on the address, hours, and operating name of businesses. Theses updates which are submitted would show up, even though business verification is not routed for. However, business owners would still receive a notice, wherein they have an option to halt the change.

New York -- Slowly but surely, global search engine giant Google is attempting to capture the tricorder-like world where anything two parties say in a typical conversation can be translated into the other person's language in real-time. Late last weekend, the company announced that their popular Google Translate for Android application now offers support for 14 languages via their “Conversation Mode”, allowing callers to receive on the fly translations as they talk to people in various parts of the world.

This move would however have Google competing with Amazon.com even as Google is creating an online music store. However, Google might not push in a full fledged entry in the field as according to people familiar with the matter, the company might open the service without the rights to sell songs from many of the biggest record labels.
