MICROSOFT PROVES PRIVACY IN CHINA

The Software Giant, Microsoft, has interestingly sued one of China's largest homegrown electronics distributors, Gome Electrical Appliances Holding, along with a Beijing electronics mall. The reason noted that the latter had allegedly infringed on the copyright of its software.

Apple's Siri has a new competitor. However, this time it is for the Windows platform. It seems like everyone now wants to have a Siri-like app in their smartphone, which has seen a number of Android apps, claiming to be Siri for Android. That surely is a want on other mobile platforms. The fascination of Siri has been catchy and a Windows Phone developer, Shai Leib, seems to have been deeply impressed, or rather inspired by Apple Siri, which made him come up with a similar app. His Ziggy App for Windows Phone is making rounds, and many are liking it already. The social networking giant, Facebook, is back with its bounty rewards for security researchers, who can help the site flush out the problems and to make the site much safer to use. Facebook has used this trick earlier and it was a huge hit. So, the company has resolved to the same strategy to avoid privacy issues. This time, however, Facebook is not giving out hard cash. Google Experiments New Design For Its Home Page, Promotes Other Services

Mountain View, California -- In a fresh move that depicts simplicity with uniqueness, global search engine titan Google has begun experimenting with a biggest new design to date for its venerable home page, reducing its recently-added grey menu along the top of the page to a grey logo at the upper left, and it looks a lot like Chrome.
